About P&M Ramseur Foundation
Creating a More Resilient Kingstown
Located in the center of Kingstown, N.C. and serving as the heart of our community, our foundation provides much-needed resources to our area’s African American youth, seniors, and vulnerable populations.
To improve the economic power and well-being of our community, our team provides local gardeners, farmers, and entrepreneurs an avenue to sell their produce and products through our farmers market. In addition, we partner with local organizations to provide garden education and tours for youth to learn more about agricultural literacy, farming, and healthy eating.
Staying True to Our Roots
Growing up in Kingstown, our family had a modest garden that kept food on our table. It also helped feed many of our neighbors. Our mother would always tell us, “If you close your fist, nothing can get out and nothing can get in. If you don't give, you can't receive.”
It was this generous spirit of our parents that inspired us to found The Paul & Marion Ramseur Foundation in 2021. We honor their legacy by using our farm to educate, elevate, and empower the people of Kingstown through our farmers market, community garden, youth education, and other programs. You can play a direct role in helping us uplift our community, improve lives, and create more opportunities for growth.
